AltiTracker is a sophisticated application that operates seamlessly in the background, providing real-time tracking of altitude changes. Its interactive graphs allow users to analyze and visualize altitude variations and trends over time.

Users have the option to choose between sea-level operation and a relative altitude mode, which tracks altitude changes with respect to a selected reference point, such as base camp altitude.

The app features CSV export/import capabilities, enabling high-resolution storage of altitude data at five-second intervals. This functionality allows for an in-depth exploration of previously saved CSV files within the app.

For those who prefer wearable technology, AltiTracker offers optional support for Apple Watch. Users can run the app independently on their Watch and access live altitude updates through app complications, whether on the iPhone or the Watch. Complications provide real-time data on altitude, relative altitude, vertical speed, and reference pressure, with settings adjustment options for reference pressure and relative altitude readily available.

Running statistics provide comprehensive information regarding total elevation gain and loss, as well as minimum and maximum altitude metrics.

The application allows for the manual setting of either sea level altitude or pressure, or users can utilize GPS features to automatically obtain a reference altitude.

An adjustable auto-off feature is included to enhance battery performance by automatically shutting down after a designated inactive period.

The optional BaroTrak feature addresses the common issue of altimeter drift due to weather changes during active climbs.

AltiTracker supports both metric and imperial units for altitude measurements, along with customizable units for pressure.
